OM-17 cell line (high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma)- M7-2202

A cell line originated from a patient diagnosed with high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). The cell line was derived from an omental tumor implant (metastatic site) originating in a chemonaive 59-year-old caucasian female of Russian descent diagnosed with stage IIIc high grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). The tumor was categorized as platinum-sensitive, with recurrence occurring nine months following her last chemotherapy cycle. At the time of acquisition, the tumor was known to secrete mucin-16 (CA125). Smoking and alcohol consumption - unknown.

Cells morphology: Rounded cells, large nuclei with prominent nucleoli
