Dr. Tamar Farfel-Becker is a life sciences innovation leader with a unique blend of scientific and investment experience. At Yeda, she identifies, evaluates, and advances promising biomedical innovations from the Weizmann Institute toward commercialization and real-world impact. Previously, she was an investor at aMoon, Israel’s largest life sciences and health tech VC, and conducted postdoctoral research at the NIH on neuronal lysosomes. Tamar holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the Weizmann Institute, focusing on Gaucher disease brain pathology.
