Dr. Jacob Fierer
Jacob Fierer received a Ph.D in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford. Prior to which he studied in Germany both for his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Before joining Yeda, Dr. Fierer worked as a research scientist (Post-Doc) at the Weizmann Institute trying to develop methodologies in producing bio-ethanol. Following that Dr. Fierer joined Yeda initially as an Analyst, then being promoted to Associate, and now holds the position of Director. During his time at Yeda he has worked on marketing and licensing technologies in the fields of Pharma, Biotech, Agrotech, FoodTech, and Neurobiology.
