Yeda Research and Development

Elik Chapnik obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to joining Yeda, Dr. Chapnik was a Director of Early Development at Quark Pharmaceuticals, a clinical-stage siRNA therapeutics company, where he was responsible for the translation of early-stage assets into the clinic. Previous to that, during his five-year tenure at Teva Pharmaceuticals Global R&D, Dr. Chapnik held roles of increasing responsibility in clinical development, personalized and translational medicine, overseeing the development of several therapeutic candidates.
