A cell line originated from a patient diagnosed with high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). Derived from tumor cells in ascites fluids (metastatic site) originating in a chemonaive 73-year-old caucasian female diagnosed with stage IIIc high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC). Smoking and alcohol consumption - unknown.

Cells morphology: Polymorphic trapezoid cells arranged in a cobblestone appearance with a large cytoplasmic surface area.
