Mr. Amir Naiberg, C.E.O
About:
Amir Naiberg was appointed as CEO of Yeda in 2006. Yeda is ranked as one of the top three technology transfer organizations in the world. Yeda’s best known business partners include Teva, Merck Serono, BMS, Abbott, Baxter, Biolex, News Group, Xennex, Lilly (Imclone), as well as many start-up companies. Amir works closely with various branches of the Israeli administration including the Knesset. Amir serves on several BODs and is one of the founders of Israel Technology Transfer Organization. Amir Naiberg holds a LL.M. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, a LL.B. degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a graduate of the Israeli Executive Leadership Program – Merage Foundation. Prior to his appointment as Yeda's CEO, Amir served as Yeda's General Counsel for six years. Before joining Yeda, Mr. Naiberg worked for a private law firm specializing in intellectual property, privacy and cyberpace law.

Mr. Shay Marcus, Chief Business Officer
About:
Prior to his position at Yeda, Mr. Marcus served as VP Business Development of Meytag High-Tech Ventures, one of Israel’s largest technological incubators and was the CEO of one of its portfolio companies, a clinical stage biotechnology company. Prior to that, Shay served as a Senior Licensing Director at Yeda, responsible for the Physical Sciences. Shay Marcus holds an M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc. in Life Sciences form Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Dr. Ruth Granoth, Chief Intellectual Property Officer
About:
Ruth Granoth holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to joining Yeda in 2002, Dr. Granoth had an internship as a patent attorney with a leading patent attorney firm and served as External Relations manager dedicated to the Israeli market for Procter & Gamble (NYSE:PG), the multi-national consumer goods company.

About:
Gil Granot-Mayer holds an MBA degree from the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration and an LL.B. degree from Tel-Aviv University. Prior to joining Yeda, Mr. Granot-Mayer worked for private law firms specializing in intellectual property, cyberspace law, e-commerce, Banking and commerce litigation.

About:
Meir Fast (C.P.A. Israel) holds an MBA degree from the Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Bar-Ilan, as well as B.A. degree in economics and accounting from the University of Bar-Ilan. Prior to joining Yeda in 2007, Mr. Fast worked for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd as the financial manager of the Prescription Medicines & Israeli Healthcare Organizations Business and prior to that as the financial controller of the Israeli Pharma division and of the International Pharma division.

Mr. Yaacov Cohen, Comptroller
About:
Ya'acov Cohen holds a B.A. degree from Tel Aviv University and is an accredited taxation consultant. A former research assistant at Tel Aviv University and a high-school instructor, Mr. Cohen became a comptroller at a CPA office, and Chief Financial Officer of Nitzan, the Israeli organization for children with learning disabilities. Mr. Cohen joined Yeda in 1993.

About:
Avital Levy-Lior holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a BSc in Material Science Engineering from Ben-Gurion University. Prior to joining Yeda, Dr. Levy-Lior worked as an Application Engineer in Applied Materials in their R&D department.

Dr. Galit Mazooz-Perlmuter, Licensing Director
About:
Galit Mazooz-Perlmuter holds a Ph.D in Biological Regulation from the Weizmann Institute of Science. A B.Sc in Chemistry from Ben Gurion university of the Negev and M.Sc in Biochemistry from Tel Aviv University. Prior to joining YEDA Dr. Mazooz-Perlmuter served as a research and development manager at Botanocap Ltd, the company develops environment friendly pesticides utilizing unique encapsulation of sustained release technique of essential oils. Prior to that, Galit served as R&D scientist in Transpharma Medical, the company introduced a unique transdermal drug delivery platform of pharmaceutics and medicine. Prior to that, Galit served as Scientific and Business Development Programs Director at OSM-DAN, the company assists academic and business units in forming consortiums and submitting grant applications to the EU.
